Dr. Carmen Rabain, D.M.D. – Partner
Dental Surgeon
Dr. Rabain graduated from The University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rabain is an active member of the Bermuda Dental Association, American Dental Association, and is a Certified Invisalign Provider. She also serves as an officer for the Bermuda Dental Board. She joined our island community, marrying Ryan Rabain and they have two children – Ava and Ashton.
Her experience encompasses all aspects of general dentistry and she is a certified Invisalign Provider, giving astute attention to detail in terms of both healthcare and aesthetics. She has consistently demonstrated a passion for her work, going above and beyond in her mission work and dental outreach programs – previously traveling to China to provide much needed dental care. She also has a passion for serving the local community – consistently looking for opportunities to provide care to the underserved.
Dr. Rabain initially practiced in Savannah, Georgia before relocating to Bermuda in 2010. Since assuming ownership of Coral Dental in 2016, she has instilled a philosophy of treating patients like family while still providing excellence in service.
Dr. Frances Betts BDS (London) DGDP (UK) – Partner
“I love my job! Ever since childhood, I had always wanted to be a dentist and the last 25 years of practicing dentistry and providing healthcare and beautiful smiles for my patients have exceeded all my expectations.
The last few years have seen some pretty amazing changes in dentistry – digital x-rays, 3D printing, digital smile design, intraoral cameras, and 3d scanning to replace messy impressions. It has all been very exciting.”
Dr. Betts qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Guys Hospital in London in 1995 and also completed the Diploma in General Dental Practice in 1998. She moved to Bermuda in 2004 and has been providing dental care to the Bermuda community at a number of different offices during that time.
She loves all aspects of dentistry but gets especially excited by “smile changers” i.e. Veneers, Invisalign (clear aligner tooth movements), and dental implants. Dr. Betts is a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When she is not in the office, she spends time with her three teens and husband and enjoys the local triathlon scene.
